New appointment at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology, VU University Amsterdam

July 6, 2009 - Drs. Marco van Bommel is appointed at the VU University Amsterdam, Department of Social and Organizational Psychology, on a new PhD-project: "The Bystander Effect: A Matter of Mixed Emotions". He will start September 1, 2009.

The project is part of a new collaboration between Psychology, Criminology and the NSCR (Netherlands Institute for the Study of Law Enforcement and Criminology). The project will be supervised by two social psychologists (dr. Jan-Willem van Prooijen and prof.dr. Paul van Lange, VU Psychology), and two criminologists (prof.dr. Henk Elffers, VU Criminology and dr. Danielle Reynald, NSCR).
